RECYCLE

 

YARN SOURCING

  • We recommend the use of our waste stock yarns.

  • We can source recycled, organic and the most eco-friendly yarns.

  • Within the next 5 years, we will be using 40% of eco-friendly and biodegradable yarns. 

RAW MATERIALS

  • We use a machine to recycle yarns by putting them back to cones.

  • We re-use all office materials until they can not be used anymore.

SUPERVISING EFFICIENCY

  • We supervise every step of the production tightly so as to avoid technical and human errors, saving time and yarns.

CONSTRUCTING SMART

  • We mostly produce fully fashion garments, which generate less waste than cutting knitted panels.

NO FAST FASHION

  • We only work with premium to luxury brands.

  • We do not contribute to fast-fashion’s massive volumes of generated waste.

CERTIFIED FACTORY

  • Certified by Intertek , Astra Supply Chain services and Workplace conditions assesment, accredited by the National ministry of the Environment and Climate change.

CONTROLLED FACTORY

  • We are controlled on the handling of our waste, quality of air, level of noise, level of pollutant substances, soil protection and use of packaging.

  • We collaborate with specialized organisations.

TRACE- ABILITY

And exporting smarter

 

IMPORTING

  • We source our raw materials from Italy, which is a short distance from Romania.

  • We aim to increase our use of GOTS certified yarns, labels and accessories. 

EXPORTING

  • We use ECO PURE certified polybags, depending on the client’s wishes.

  • We group all shipments together and ship at once as much as needed.

CHEMICALS

  • We eliminate dangerous substances from our production cycle.

  • We mostly use natural fibres yarns.

  • We use natural washing bio-enzymes detergents and products in the washing department. 

  • We use IAFIL washing balls to propose a 100% chemical-free washing.

  • We follow the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) protocol.

CHANGING OUR ENERGY

 

PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS

  • Within the next 5 years, we will be installing photovoltaic panels.

LIGHTING CHANGE

  • We make sure to efficiently use natural light.

  • We are changing 80% of lights to LED and CFL.

GENERATE CLEAN ENERGY

  • We are developping a new software that will allow all processes to go smoother.

  • We use efficient / new machinery. Inefficient machines pollute up to 70% more.

USING WHAT WE HAVE

 

COGENERATION

  • Cogeneration (combined Heat and Power).

  • System using boilers heat to be reused as ironing steam.

USE OUR WASTE

  • Our waste can be incinerated to be used as heat energy.

  • We propose our clients our overstock yarns at a more competitive price.

USE OUR WATER

  • We tightly control our water usage in all departments, from washing to steaming.

  • We plan to make our waste water available for toilet flushing and external irrigation.

FACTORY STRATEGIES

 

RECYCLE, REUSE, REDUCE

  • We aim to use 75%  recycled or organic materials which require little processing.

  • We aim to recycle all materials produced and only use products that serve multiple purposes which last for years.

  • We aim to use only certified recycled packaging for all brands when shipping samples & production.

GENERAL FUNCTIONNING

  • Reduction of CO2 emissions through the deployment of low carbon process technologies

  • Reduction of water consumption through the use of 3R technologies (Reduce, reuse, recycle).

  • Implementation of environmental management to conserve biodiversity, management of chemicals and cooperation with local communities.

  • To plant trees each year, reducing Carbon Footprint.

  • Use of low-energy evaporative cooling systems replacing air conditionings and dissipated heat from machine tools. 

GREEN MANUFACTURING

  • Making on-demand production and mass customization will result in a reduction of the waste stock produced. 

  • We are currently training to be able to make 3D samples for our customers, with a special computerised program reducing the sampling time, the amount of parcels shipped and the yarn usage.
